- Long-stay rates from 7 nights. Email us with the placement window and we’ll send the best available rate.
- Same-room continuity across return rotations where availability allows — tell us your roster pattern when you book.
- Direct billing via Travellers Group corporate account or directly to the agency — we can invoice the agency with the placement reference. Tell us the agency name and account contact at booking.
- Quiet rooms on request — if a 12-hour or night shift means daytime sleeping, mention it in the booking notes.
- Practical kit: kitchen for actual cooking, on-site laundry, fast NBN WiFi for handovers/notes, a real workspace, free parking.
For patient families — practical guidance
If you’re staying while someone you love is in hospital, the small things compound: knowing where to get a 6am coffee before rounds, what’s open at 9pm after visiting hours, where the late pharmacy is.
- Early coffee + breakfast. Coffee Society Rockhampton and The Two Professors in the CBD both open from around 5:30–6:30am for takeaway. Under 2 minutes’ drive from Cityville.
- Late food after visiting hours. McDonald’s CBD and North Rockhampton, Hungry Jack’s drive-through, Domino’s pizza (typically until ~10–11pm). The Lionleigh Hotel and Rocky Sports Club do pub meals to ~8:30–9pm if you can get there earlier.
- Late pharmacy. TerryWhite Chemmart on Alma Street is open to ~9pm.
- 24-hour fuel + essentials. BP North, Ampol Foodary South Rockhampton, Ampol Foodary North Rockhampton Truckstop.
- If you need to extend night by night — tell reception by 10am the day before checkout and we’ll do our best to keep you in the same room.

Weekly rates and billing
Long-stay rates apply for stays of 7 nights or more, with cancellation policy adjusted accordingly: a 2-night fee for changes / cancellations inside 48 hours on 7–30 night stays, and a 7-night fee for 30+ night stays.
For agencies and hospitals, direct billing via the Travellers Group corporate account — one invoice, cost codes, PTSS-compliant invoicing for patient travel subsidy claims if needed. Email bookings@cityville.com.au with the agency or hospital name, ABN and the contact for invoicing.
Which rooms suit a placement
A locum on a two-week block usually wants the Deluxe Studio — quiet, self-contained, no more room than you need. Agency placements running longer take the 1 Bedroom Apartment for the separate bedroom and full kitchen, which makes shift patterns easier to live with. Families in town while someone is an inpatient take the 2 Bedroom Apartment. All nine types are on the accommodation page.
